More top names sign up to Christ’s Lane
Christ's Lane, the new Cambridge retail destination being created by Land Securities, is pleased to announce two more lettings on the site previously occupied by Bradwell's Court.
Christ's Lane's fashion offering will be enhanced by Billabong, and also joined by LOMBOK, with its popular home products range.
Billabong's store will feature its other house brands of Nixon, VZ, Kustom and Element, selling an exciting and up-to-the-minute range of fashion leisure wear, accessories and surf inspired gear for the street or beach. The shop will have a generous amount of space over two floors, along the new Christ’s Lane thoroughfare. ‘Billabong thought very carefully for the location of its next store,’ says Steve Hazel, Retail General Manager of Billabong Europe. ‘Cambridge was one of our target locations, and this new development gives us a great exposure to our target consumer’.
LOMBOK, which is also taking two floors, and will be located next to the Giraffe restaurant, specialises in elegant, hand-made wooden furniture, inspired by eastern and colonial styles. Unusual and beautiful lighting and accessories are also available, sourced primarily from the Far East, with hand-embroidered linen and lacquered bowls, lamps and vases. ‘We also offer an interior design service, to bring customers' ideas to life’, says William Landale, Managing Director of LOMBOK. ‘Christ’s Lane will be an ideal showcase to inspire people to think about making the LOMBOK look part of their living space.’
The addition of LOMBOK and Billabong to the Christ's Lane cast list means that 85 per cent of all the available retail space has already been prelet - a ringing endorsement of the popularity of the new development by leading retailers. Christ's Lane will be open in time for this year's Christmas shopping, and will also feature Zara, H&M and Bank.
