- SDC Construction began work on demolishing the old Bradwell's Court
- Cambridge Archaeological Unit began archaeology investigations
August 2006
- Demolition of the old buildings complete
- Archaeology works complete
September - October 2006
- Piling of the foundations complete
- Diversion of gas works on St Andrew's Street complete
- Enabling works in Christ's Lane complete
- Christ's Lane walkway opened to the public for the first time in almost 50 years
October - December 2006
- The Christ's Lane foundations will be finished
- Concrete floor slabs will be laid
- You will begin to see the new building's outer steel framework go up
January - April 2007
- On completion of the framework, building work continues with external
paving and the stone cladding to the façade becoming visible
May – July
2007
- Steel framework and concrete floors will be completed
- Roofing will be
commencing to the residential aspect
- St Andrew’s Street stonework
starts, along with Christ’s Lane
brick and stonework
- Retail fit out commences
August – October 2007
- The St Andrew’s Street and Christ’s Lane elevations and residential
roofing will be completed
- Brick and stone work commences to the Christ’s
Pieces elevation at the rear
- Further retail units will begin fit out
November – December 2007
- Christ's Pieces elevation will be completed
- Christ’s Lane retail
units will open for trade
