The redevelopment features:

Work on the site commenced in spring 2006; the development is a distinctive retail-led, mixed-use scheme, which will respond to its setting in a conservation area, adjacent to the listed buildings incorporated in two of Cambridge's most prestigious colleges.

Maintaining a strong pedestrian link through the scheme is essential and to enable this, the scheme has been orientated around the reopening of Christ's Lane as the new permanent route linking St Andrews Street and Christ's Pieces.

The new route will be wider and brighter than the current scheme and will reopen a valuable historical link in the city.

This sensitive city centre redevelopment was designed by award winning architects Panter Hudspith.
